The core services of our business
MGSR Namibia is a granite and allied products manufacturing company. Our new workshop is located in Ongwediva, Namibia were the following lines of business are articulated:
  • Cutting and polishing of tombstones of all shapes and sizes
  • Writing and engraving of the tombstones using computerized vinyl cutting machinery in collaboration with Art-cut and Corel draw system packages
  • Packaging of tombstones, delivery and collection
We also specialize in the following allied granite products:
  • Customized granite tables
  • Kitchen, bar and restaurant counter tops
  • Granite tiles in assorted colors
In addition to the manufacturing of granite products, we also offer the following services:
  • Onsite construction of the gravesites – from the actual building of the grave to the erection of the tombstone
  • Renovating of gravesites and defaced tombstones
  • Fitting of the kitchen tops and bar counter tops on site
Our team of experienced and highly skilled employees will be there to ensure that all stones are done to specification and conform to company quality assurance policies.
Further to the factory in Ongwediva light industrial site, the company has a total of four selling and distribution branches in the following towns:
  • Oshakati
  • Grootfontein
  • Otjiwarongo
  • Rundu
With a network of these strategically positioned locations, orders can be placed at any of the offices, processed and products delivered or collected as per customer instructions. As part of our values, we acknowledge the fact that customer is king and value and respect the business the client brings to our business. Although we face stiff competition from other established and upcoming rival companies, we always strive on delivering quality to the client and offer very competitive prices and generous terms to suit all the classes of society.

To complement our service delivery we have a very effective and efficient fleet of seven vehicles that will work round the clock if need be to fulfill the wishes of the clients.

Raw Materials Procurement
Our main raw material is granite and we have a policy of raw material replenishment that ensures that any point we have the right materials for any kind of job or order that might arise. We buy our granite stones mainly from our South African suppliers, Avbob Industries in Rusternberg and our local counterparts Namibia Stone Processing, Omaruru as well as Karibib Marble crush. We have well established relationships with our suppliers such that should we need any materials urgently, they address our needs with prompt response. Most of the stones that we buy will be cut and polished already such that it becomes easy for us to work on them and be able to deliver orders on time. Other materials include reinforced steel and roller bars, reinforced mesh steel and lipped channel for the making of top seals to reinforce the cover of the grave. Our biggest challenge of late was the shortages of cement which not only affected us but the whole construction industry. Even though such unforeseen stumbling blocks are common in business, we always put maximum efforts to make do with what will be available so that work moves ahead and our clients are not affected. History of projects embarked on
MGSR Namibia has grown to be a reputable trusted name in Namibia and our track record proves for itself. To date we have embarked on big as well as small projects to the satisfaction and amazement of our client. Some of the projects we have undertaken include:
  • The monument for the late Kuku Helvi Kondombolo Nujoma
  • The monument of the late father of the founding father of the Republic of Namibia, Dr. Sam Nujoma
  • The FNB monument erected at the premises of the Ministry of Finance in Oshakati
  • The Swapo monument for fallen heroes erected at Opuwo, officiated by the Honorable Deputy Prime Minister Dr. libertine Amadhila
  • The Swapo monument for fallen heroes at Omatoto in the Kunene region, officiated by the Honorable Minister of Works and Transport, Mr. Peter Iilonga
(In addition to the above mentioned, we have erected eleven (11) monuments in total in remembrance of our fallen heroes for the four regions of Northern Namibia namely Kunene, Oshana, Ohangwena and Omusati).
  • Name plates for the official openings and inauguration ceremonies of prominent buildings in Oshakati and Grootfontein
  • Over 4000 tombstones for the general public erected to date
